E-commerce WMS market set for rapid growth

New research by KV Research has found that the Global Warehouse Management Market is expected to reach $3,635.3 million by 2022, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.5% during 2016 -2022. The full report of which can be found here.

A further report also released recently projected the Warehouse Management System (WMS) market to reach $3,112 million by 2022, growing at a CAGR of 15.2% from 2016 to 2022. The report by Allied Market Research attributes the growth to an increase in inventory and workload of WMS in warehouse operations.

The report estimates that the Asia-Pacific region will grow fastest in this period due to the increase in the adoption of e-commerce WMS services and extensive growth in Japan, China, Australia, and India. However, the report also forecasts that Europe will be the largest market during this period.

"The European market is most productive as compared to others with diverse industry verticals implementing WMS at a greater extent. Furthermore, it is projected to generate the highest market revenue over the forecast period with predominant deployments in the transportation & logistics industry," states Seapee Bajaj, Lead Analyst, Construction and Manufacturing at AMR.
